The ECB and SRB agree to share confidential information

The European Central Bank (ECB) and the Single Resolution Board (SRB) have together signed a Memorandum of Understanding in respect of the sharing of confidential information. The Memorandum of Understanding will improve the exchange of information between them in the context of the single resolution mechanism. The cooperation and information exchange will now be broader in scope and enhance the resolution authorities’ knowledge-based decision-making process by making available detailed information to aid that process.
