The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched on 30 July 2024 a public consultation on its draft ITS (Implementing Technical Standards) overhauling the resolution planning reporting framework. The consultation runs until 30 October 2024 and comments can be sent via the EBA’s consultation page (link provided below). The draft ITS aims to improve the usability of the reporting framework and enhance a consistent monitoring of resolution planning. Moreover, the draft ITS aims to further harmonise reporting requirements in the EU and avoid duplication of data requests. A public hearing on the draft ITS will take place on 12 September 2024.
